What are your safety measures against Covid-19?

In line with the UAE Government regulations and strict health and safety measures, all visitors must adhere to the following:

  • Wear a face mask
  • Temperature checks prior to entry
  • Those with high temperatures (37.3° C) will be denied entry
  • Ensure social distancing of 2 metres, and avoiding social gatherings
  • Use hand sanitiser before entry and exit
  • The seating capacity is limited to ensure the safety of our guests and personnel
  • Guests can only access their respective admission or hospitality area
  • If purchasing designated seats, those seats cannot be changed, and guests are requested to remain in their allocated seats
  • Maximum number of guests per table is 6. If your group is larger, please email your enquiry to [email protected]

It is mandatory to comply with the above-stated safety measures, in all areas of the venue. Dubai Racing Club & Meydan, reserves the right to deny entry or respectfully escort guests failing to comply with the venue.

Where is Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse located?

Meydan Racecourse & Grandstand is located at the heart of Dubai and is UAE’s elite horseracing district. Situated on Meydan Road (D69) in Nad Al Sheba 1, it is easily accessible via major roads and expressways.

Coming from Dubai or Abu Dhabi from Sheikh Zayed Road:

Please take Exit 47 from Sheikh Zayed Road and follow the Nad Al Sheba direction, then turn right onto Al Meydan Road (D69) and follow the signs to Meydan Racecourse and Grandstand.

Coming from Al Ain on Dubai-Al Ain Road:

Please take Exit 7 from Dubai-Al Ain Road and follow the Nad Al Sheba direction, then turn onto Al Meydan Road (D69) and follow the signs to Meydan Racecourse and Grandstand.

Where is the Ticket Sales Office located, and what are the working hours?

Dubai Racing Club’s Ticket Sales Office is located in Meydan Racecourse between Gate B and Gate C of the Meydan Grandstand, and is open from 10.00am to 3.00pm; Sundays to Thursdays, and from 8.00am to 8.00pm on race days. It is recommended that all tickets are collected prior to the race night to simplify admission on the night. Please note that ticket collection is not possible on Dubai World Cup day.

What are the hospitality package timings?

Race nights (Racing at Meydan & Dubai World Cup Carnival)

The hospitality and beverage packages are served for 4 hours and start 30 minutes before the first race.

Dubai World Cup

All hospitality area packages are served from 2PM until 10PM. Apron Views and General Admission start at 12noon until 10PM.

Are you open to certain dietary requirements?

Please contact the Ticket Sales Office (Tel: +971 4 327 2110, Email: [email protected]) stating your dietary request. Your request will then be forwarded to the caterer who will confirm or offer alternative options.

How many races are there on each race night?

Race nights (Racing at Meydan & Dubai World Cup Carnival)

There are 6 to 7 races per night at 35-40 minutes intervals, with gates opening 1hr30min before the post time of the first race. It is recommended that you arrive at the Meydan Racecourse & Grandstand 30 minutes before the first race to allow time to find parking, reach your desired hospitality area.

Dubai World Cup

There are 9 races on Dubai World Cup at 30-40 minutes intervals, with gates opening at 12noon. The first race will start at 3.45pm (subject to change). It is recommended that you arrive at the Meydan Racecourse & Grandstand early at least 60 minutes prior the first race to allow time to find parking, pass through security clearance, reach your desired hospitality area, and complete the prediction game competition entry form which must be handed before 5PM.

What is the Dubai Racing Club’s cancelation policy?

Race nights (Racing at Meydan & Dubai World Cup Carnival)

  • Cancellation 4 weeks prior to the race date - 100% refund.
  • Cancellation 4 weeks within race date – no refund.

Dubai World Cup

  • No refund on any Dubai World Cup purchased tickets.

What is the dress code policy of Meydan Racecourse & Grandstand?

Children of all ages are welcome into the above mentioned hospitality areas by purchasing the full price tickets and must be accompanied by an adult. There are no special prices for children’s tickets.

Note: In line with the UAE Government regulations and strict health and safety measures, Parade Ring Restaurant package is currently unavailable.

THE PREMIUM (all prices include 5%VAT) (excluding promotion day)

Children 13 years of age and older must purchase a full priced ticket

Children of the ages 5 – 12 years:                             AED 20 per child/ticket

Children 4 years of age and younger gain a free entry with an access voucher collected from the Ticket Sales Office.

SILKS RESTAURANT (all prices include 5%VAT)

Children of all ages are welcome into the Apron Views and all Hospitality Areas including Dubai Lounge and Parade Ring Restaurant by purchasing the full price tickets and must be accompanied by an adult. There are no special prices for children’s tickets.

HORSE PARADE RING

Children under 5 years of age are not allowed access into the Horse Parade Ring.

Can someone else collect my tickets on my behalf?

Yes, send an email to [email protected] mentioning your booking reference number and the name of the person collecting the tickets on your behalf. He/she can then collect the tickets on your behalf provided that he/she presents your booking reference number along with his/her ID for verification for ticket collection.

Please note that ticket collection is not possible on Dubai World Cup day.

Can I have my tickets couriered?

Yes, we offer courier delivery option at a nominal fee. When making the booking online, please specify and select the correct courier option.

Please note that delivery of tickets to hotels for visiting guests is not possible.

Can I change my delivery address?

If the tickets have not yet been shipped, the delivery address can be changed upon receiving a written notification from the person who purchased the tickets, sent by email to [email protected] outlining the new delivery address.

Please note it is your responsibility to notify us in advance of a change in delivery address. In case the tickets had already been shipped, then it is the responsibility of the receiver to contact the courier company to arrange for alternative delivery address.

Is betting/gambling allowed?

Betting and gambling are illegal in the UAE.

The Pick 6 online prediction competition is free to enter by visiting https://pick6.dubairacingclub.com. The objective of the competition is to predict the winner of each of the six nominated races, usually the last 6 races of a programme for a chance to win cash prizes. The winner will be notified via SMS and must produce an original valid identity document with photograph (Passport, Emirates ID or Driver’s License) and proof of the registered mobile phone. Collection of prize money will be from Dubai Racing Club finance department on Sunday between 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Are reservations possible?

Racing is a ticketed event, so tickets must be purchased to secure the availability of the seats/table (if applicable). For packages that include seats/table, reservations cannot be made prior to purchasing tickets. Tickets cannot be reserved.

Once you’ve purchased your tickets online, an Email confirming your ticket purchase will be sent to the Email address you entered, containing an order reference number, and table/seat will automatically be allocated based on the number of the purchased tickets.

I purchased tickets to the restaurant, and I would like to purchase more tickets for the same table, what should I do?

Please take the following steps:

  1. Contact the Ticket Sales Office to check the availability of the tickets, stating date and package.
  2. If tickets are available, place a new order (purchase tickets)
  3. Send your initial and new order numbers to [email protected] and request joining orders
  4. Ticket Sales Office will confirm your request based on availability

Our friends purchased tickets to the restaurant and we would like to join them at the same table, what should we do?

Please take the following steps:

  1. Contact the Ticket Sales Office to check the availability of the tickets, stating date and package.
  2. If tickets are available, place a new order (purchase tickets)
  3. Send your new order number to [email protected] and request joining orders
  4. Ticket Sales Office will respond your request with a confirmation based on availability

Please note that your friends will also need to write to us confirming their acceptance of joining your table to theirs.

Can I use my booking confirmation to enter the Grandstand?

No, you must visit the Ticket Sales Office to collect your actual tickets which will allow you access to the Grandstand. Please note that ticket collection is not possible on Dubai World Cup day.

I was invited and presented with tickets, but I need additional tickets, what should I do?

Please contact the person or company that invited you, as they are the only ones authorized to request additional tickets on their existing bookings. You may contact the Ticket Sales Office for further clarification.

I lost my ticket, what should I do?

Contact the Ticket Sales Office (Tel: +971 4 327 2110, Email: [email protected]) stating your case including your order reference number at the earliest.

Stolen, missing or damaged tickets can be reissued upon verifying proof of purchase and authenticity of tickets. Additional fees may apply.

Will taxis be available at the end of the race night?

The Dubai Transport Company operates a taxi service from Meydan Racecourse and Grandstand. The taxi drop-off and pick up point is located at Gate B ramp of the Meydan Grandstand.

Where can I purchase official merchandise?

An exclusive range of merchandise will be available from the merchandise pavilion at Concourse A.

Do you offer hotel and flight bookings?

No, we recommend that a local travel agent or tour operator is contacted to assist with hotel and flight bookings.

Is there a dedicated area for children within the Grandstand?

Race nights (Racing at Meydan & Dubai World Cup Carnival)

Yes, we have two dedicated areas for children aged 2 – 10 years. The Kids’ Zone is located on the first level near The Premium and can be accessed by all hospitality patrons. We have another kids area located on the Mezzanine level by the food-court within the Public Area vicinity which is accessible to free admission and hospitality patrons. Both areas have a range of fun activities.

Dubai World Cup

Kids’ Zone is located on the Mezzanine level near the food-court in the General Admission area, offering a range of fun activities for children aged 2 – 10 years.

Is the area accessible to wheelchairs and disabled guests?

A convenient access to the Meydan Grandstand is available from the Mezzanine Levels for disabled guests. Lifts are available on all floors to take guests to their desired area. Please specify your concern while purchasing the tickets and Ticket Office Agents will advise accessible seating.

Parking spaces are available for our guests with disabilities on the Ground Floor. Vehicles legally using disabled plates or window cards are permitted to park in these designated spaces. Any unauthorized vehicle found parking in a disabled space will be penalized.
